Guiding Good Choices® (GGC)

Guiding Good Choices® (GGC) is a family skills-training program designed for parents and their middle-school aged children in grades four through seven. The primary goals of the program are to enhance positive parent-child interactions and help parents prevent their children's drug use and related behavioral problems.

The GGC program is an interactive, multimedia curriculum that uses a variety of strategies to teach new skills, including modeling in videos; role-play; guided, small and large group discussions; and home practice activities. It can be licensed from the University of Washington as either a 1-year or a 3-year renewable membership subscription for one or more people with a discount available for larger groups.

The updated GGC Workshop Leader Guide is available in both English and Spanish language versions. Please see below for details on all licenses.

International Requests:

University of Washington agreements require additional review if the requesting entity is located in, or affiliated with the government of, China (Including Hong Kong; not including Taiwan), Iran, North Korea, Russia, or Syria. For requests from these countries, please allow for an additional month of processing time for a response.

After You License:

Once a Membership Subscription Agreement has been executed, downloadable content will be made available to your account for use per terms of your agreement. To download content, go to the CoMotion website and select the "Sign-in" link in the upper right corner of the page. Once signed in, click your account name in the upper right hand corner and select the MY DOWNLOADS link. From this page, you will find the downloadable content.
